i. max miller works and lives in Portland, Oregon.  His work investigates themes of ecological consciousness, queer identity,  and hybrid or alternate realities.  Drawing inspiration from the worlds of video games and pulp science fiction, familial histories and mythologies. max is a interdisciplinary visual artist whose work includes film, video, music, game design, writing and poetry.  His work is focused on exploring the multifaceted layers of our contemporary existence, using avatars based off his own likeness, he offers viewers a glimpse into a world where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur in confusing and potentially absurd compositions.
